The Kids Open Water Adventure
Don't leave the kids out! The safe and friendly environment in Dahab, the colorful fish, the fascinating camels, the sun, the sea and the sparkling stars, are a great setup for a real adventure. Kids are often enthusiastic divers, and can complete a Junior Open water course from the age of 10, under supervision of our patient and qualified instructor.
The Junior Open Water course is the same as the Open Water course (OWD), with basic theory, 5 confined sessions and 4 Open Water dives, teaching you Scuba diving skills in a child friendly and exciting way. Junior Open Water divers aged 10 – 11 will be certified to dive to 12 meters with an adult. Junior Open Water Divers aged 12 – 14 will be certified to dive to 18 meters with an adult. The Junior Open Water course is scheduled with the other Itchy Feet diving Adventures, so the whole family can share the amazing underwater experiences and be certified as PADI divers together.
We recommend children to do an introduction dive with their local dive club before the course, to see if they feel comfortable and eager to be a certified diver. The PADI e-learning program is also a great way to prepare yourself, and the whole family can help each other and study together before the holiday starts.

All prices are per person based on two people sharing. If you would like a single room, a single supplement is available.
This adventure is great...
for kids age 10-14, preferably with a completed e-learning program and intro dive. Children should be comfortable in the water.
A less demanding introduction to scuba diving for the youngest ones is a half day intro dive for children ("Bubblemaker") from the age of 8 years.
A parent or guardian must be present in Dahab for the whole of the "Bubblemaker Adventure".
