The Re-Discovery Adventure

Re-discover an isolated pilgrim route to St Catherine's Monastery. Venture through rustic landscapes and flourishing valleys where very few have been for centuries.

During the trek you will scale two of the Sinai's highest mountains, the challenging Umm Shomar and the towering Mt St Catherine's. Pass through Rotok, a remote area where very few trekkers ever go. You'll visit an old national park building, now the home to a Sheikh and his family, and remark at some of the Sinai's lush valleys. In the spring time you may be lucky enough to witness the sight of water running through the ancient riverbeds. Over five days you will walk 73.4 km and ascend 3251 meters.

The Re-Discovery Adventure takes you off the beaten track and shows you hidden gems in the Sinai. With native Bedouins as your guides you have the unique opportunity to experience life the way Bedouins have for generations and generations. Take in their history and learn about Sinai's flora and fauna.

The Re-Discovery Adventure has been designed with experienced trekkers in mind and will lead you into remote locations without the comforts of home. Walking days can be upwards of 8 hours.

After a challenging mountain adventure you'll be rewarded with a day to relax in Dahab. Enjoy the comforts of a hotel with a refreshing pool and crisp white linen.
