Terms & Conditions
1. The person booking the holiday accepts these conditions for and on behalf of all members of the group involved with the particular booking.
2. 20% of the booking will be paid as a deposit at the time of booking. This is non-refundable unless Itchy Feet are unable to offer the client a place.
3. The balance of the holiday is to be paid upon arrival in cash in Euros, Sterling or Egyptian Pounds.
4. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 3 weeks before arrival and the deposit will be forfeited. With cancellations of bookings made within 3 weeks of arrival, the full cost of the holiday must be paid.
5. A booking is made in the name of the client and is not transferable to another person. Packages can be swapped at least 4 weeks before the arrival date with no fees. Packages swapped within 4 weeks of the arrival date will be treated as a cancellation and the full cost of the holiday must be paid.
6. The cost of your holiday includes what is stated in the booking confirmation. Anything not included in the cost of your holiday is not included in the booking confirmation. We guarantee not to increase the price once the deposit has been received.
7. The client will comply with Egyptian laws and follow the standards and regulations of the activities we offer.
8. The client takes responsibility to obtain a valid passport, visa and any other documentation required for the purpose of their trip.
9. Itchy Feet reserves the right to change the schedule and location (within Dahab) of your package. The content and price will remain the same.
10. Itchy Feet accepts no responsibility for matters arising out of political disputes, border closures, epidemics, natural disasters, climates and terrorism. Should it become necessary to cancel/change activities due to such events Itchy Feet will retain such monies received necessary to cover costs incurred. Any excess will be refunded.
11. The client accepts that due to the nature of Dahab and Egypt all activities involve an element of personal risk and potentially hazardous situations. Itchy Feet is not responsible for any accidents incurred. Any costs incurred will be carried by the client.
12. The client agrees to comply with local rules and customs.
13. Itchy Feet reserves the right to order clients to leave the trip immediately if we consider his/her behavior to compromise the safety or wellbeing of any members, including himself, of the trip with no refund. The client will incur all costs involved.
14. In the unlikely event Itchy Feet cancels a holiday, we will refund all monies paid to Itchy Feet.
15. In the event of any client leaving the holiday of his/her accord, Itchy Feet will not be responsible for any costs incurred.
16. The decision of Itchy Feet is final with regards to the safety and well being of the client.
17. Itchy Feet reserves the right to decline any bookings at its discretion.
18. The information given on the website and any other literature supplied is given in good faith but no warranty is given that it is correct.
19. No representative of Itchy Feet has authority to commit Itchy Feet to any liability whatsoever. Itchy Feet will not be bound by any statement or representation unless it is in writing and signed by one of the directors.
20. It is the clients responsibility to arrange suitable adventure travel insurance with benefits that cover all of the activities they are taking part in as well as personal accident, medical expenses, repatriation and loss and damage to personal effects. A copy of the client's travel insurance must be shown to the Itchy Feet Team at the start of the trip. In the event that the client does not have suitable travel insurance they will not be allowed to join the holiday.
21. Itchy Feet does not accept responsibility for clients personal possessions or valuables that are lost, damaged or stolen during the course of the holiday.
22. In the event of delayed or cancelled flights Itchy Feet will not accept any responsibility of the costs incurred due to these events. Costs of extra nights accommodation will be incurred by the client.
23. Special offers and discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date. Additional terms and conditions can be added during special campaigns and are solely valid for the specific campaign they refer to.
24. On completion of a holiday complaints must be received, in writing, within 14 days of the departure so they can be dealt with effectively. In the event of a claim for compensation, the claim must be received by Itchy Feet, in writing, within 30 days of the departure.
